THE CULINARY SCROLL CONTINUES!

A culinary experience that keeps bringing India’s food stories to life.

The Culinary Scroll is a thoughtfully curated 1-day immersive cooking experience hosted at Foreign Return, where guests step into the kitchens of the past, present, and future.

After several successful sessions, The Culinary Scroll continues its journey at Foreign Return — bringing centuries of flavour, culture and storytelling to the table through an immersive, hands-on cooking experience.

Across a one-day session, journey through India’s rich culinary eras — from Mughal spice traditions and Colonial influences to contemporary global Indian plates. Learn alongside our chefs as you grind your own spices, explore traditional techniques, plate like a pro and create mocktails inspired by regional history and ingredients.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Live recipe demonstrations inspired by different culinary eras

  • Spice-grinding and ingredient preparation

  • Mocktail masterclasses

  • Interactive cooking stations

  • A community-style potluck feast to share and enjoy together

Whether you're a home cook, culture enthusiast, or simply curious about Indian food, The Culinary Scroll is more than a cooking class — it’s a journey through time, taste and tradition.
